Our next big adventure

Well, it has been nearly 3 years since I blogged about our trip to China. I am in the planning stages of our next big trip, so I figure now is the time to get back to it. In June of this year the 5 of us are heading to Europe. We will visit England, France and the Netherlands over the course of 18 days. The kids are excited, Bill and I are cautiously optimistic, and our friend Claire is full of good advice. The guidebooks are purchased and we are busily reading and making decisions.

In the years since my last entries we have skied in Colorado, Utah and Wisconsin. We have traveled to Southern California twice, staying in Laguna Beach and San Diego, visiting Disney Land California and the San Diego Zoo. We went to Orlando Florida where I ran the Disney Half Marathon and as a family we toured Disney's Epcot and Hollywood Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure. We have been to Atlanta Georgia and Huntsville Alabama. Devlin and I have been to Kalamazoo Michigan and Liam and I have been to New York City. Mac and Liam have attended sleep away camp in Wisconsin and Minnesota, respectively. Bill and I spent 5 days in Paris - some magical, and some decidedly less than magical. Between now and when we leave for England we will road trip to our nation's capital, with stops in Ohio, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and wherever else our desires lead us. We are not a family for staying home and resting.
